For this hypothetical project I was asked to design a promotional package for the Design Museum. The package would celebrate the work of Dieter Rams and would be sold as a gift item within the museum shop.

The brief required that the package consist of a box which would contain a t-shirt, poster and 6 postcards.

My design took inspiration from the radios which Dieter Rams designed while at Braun. The papers and finishes were selected in order to reflected the surfaces of the real products. The t-shirt and postcards were laser cut to create a tactile surface, similar to that of the real radios.

Overall this was a very challenging project with a great deal of detail involved since it was my first venture into packaging. The finished package worked well and successfully reflected the design approach of Dieter Rams.
